So glad you enjoyed your meal with us. We constantly try and increase quality whilst keeping our offering good value for money. Our drinks prices are in line with most other catering outlets in the area we're sorry you didn't think them value for money.
We went into the cafe for some lunch after a trip on the excellent railway. Great staff, good food choices and overall a really good experience. It was busy but coping very well. Best place for food in town I suspect. Recommended.
Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your meal with us, we hope to see you soon.

Following Customer Feedback there will be a through overhaul and rebuild of the cafe over the Winter Period to ensure that we can offer the best service and food available. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2018 to try the new King's Cafe.
Steam and scream halloween special, food was awful & cold! The chilli con carne had no heat and was flavourless. A cup cake/rice krispie cake does not count as a desert in my opinion.Train journey ok but the ghost walk was poor. Not good value...More

Staff friendly, menu choices were good and prices were fair. Cafe offers views of the railway so you can watch the locos moving around getting ready to take you up the line.
We're glad you enjoyed your meal with us. We hope your meal didn't go cold with the distractions of the trains outside. See you again soon.
