Whenever I come in here, its always busy with a really nice relaxing atmosphere. Popped in for brunch and again was not disappointed. I had welsh rarebit, and asked for the creamed garlic mushrooms for a small extra cost. The only way to describe it is delicious!!! My friend had the goats cheese salad which she also enjoyed. The home... More

Yummy food, excellent service, spotlessly clean and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended. Its like stepping back in time with memories of the good old days. China cups and saucers, side plates with tiny cake forks.

We wanted to show the Sugar Plum Tea Rooms off to a visiting friend from the south and he wasn't disappointed. We had a lovely breakfast - the doorstop slices of granary bread with 2 free range eggs on for 2 vegetarians was really filling and the egg yolks were so creamy. I love all the vintage items on display... More

Took the mother in law for afternoon tea and it was fab. Lots to eat and even took a few home, definitely one of the best around. Only thing I'd day could be improved was the tea pots! They have lovely crockery but standard metal tea pots, little thing overall.

A surprise treat from my lovely son, the Sugar Plum is a hidden gem in beautiful North Wales. Its extremely popular and a reservation must be made, even on a Monday! Staff very cheerful, even had my own birthday balloon, food exceptionally good. Just one small thing, not their usual choice of cakes available but I had a fully loaded... More

Went to the sugar plum for my mum's birthday, my mum has dementia so sometimes our dining experiences are slightly awkward - nothing to do with her, she's great but staff and diners can sometimes be uncomfortable and probably just difficulty understanding the situation. The staff at the sugar plum are always nice, but sherie was pretty brilliant when we... More

Sugarplum tearooms are full or quirky decorations and the atmosphere is lovely. The menu is limited and service quite slow, but the food is always nice and freshly made so it's worth the wait. I love the warm goats cheese salad and the milkshakes are scrummy. It can get busy during the weekend so many people tend to reserve tables.... More

Food was lovely as always! The Sugar Plum is nice to visit if you are looking for an afternoon snack. The milkshakes are definitely my favourite.
