We eat here as a family on a regular basis. The menu choice is vast and lots of the meals are home made which is very important to me. The quality of the meals is great and reasonably priced and the service is fab. It's great to have table service in a pub to save having to queue at the... More

My wife and I decided we'd go out for lunch yesterday seeing as our children and grandchildren were not around. It was the first time we had gone here and I can definitely say it won't be the last!! We went into the bar area which was nice and spacious, had a look at the lunch menu and I was... More

The young lad behind the bar was very welcoming and polite and nothing was too much trouble. We all has starters and mains and found the food to be great. We only had one observation and its the chips get some gourmet thick cut ones. Apart from that the beer was great and the pub was very busy

Had nit been for many years decided to give it a go. Very disappointing. Polite chap behind the bar but woman serving did not even smile. Both had chicken tikka one with half and half other with just rice. Still laughing about it now. Unsmiling lady plonks my food down with a tiny amount of rice on it. So i... More

Bank holiday weekend so we booked in at 5pm, it's not a large place. Looking at the interior of the bar area looks a little dark and tired but this does not reflect on the quality of the food. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hot bread rolls served with our drinks. Starters were plentiful and delicious. For... More

Lovely elevated location with beautifully kept bay windowed bedrooms overlooking the bay. Efficient and friendly welcome from this well run family hotel and pub. Lovely whatever you like breakfasts with delicious Glamorgan veggie sausages, local bacon and sausages, creamy scrambled eggs and kippers. Excellent value for money. Our friends' Jack Russell was allowed in the room for an £10 which... More
