Lovely pub good best bitter with yummy food in a lovely setting . It's nice to sit outside and watch the shoppers in the marketplace.

The staff were very friendly and the food was good! It does get busy so be aware you may have to wait!. Had the Beefburgers and they were very tasty and filling. Good value for money!

We had a light lunch here. The food was good - my husband had a posh fish finger sandwich, while I had celeriac and apple soup with sourdough bread. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Great staff and a clean place to stay. Very convenient. We had a medical emergency during the late evening and the staff were helpful.

What I ordered was different to what turned up, but they happily changed it without a fuss. The dinner was OK and served it's purpose so we didn't return. They think by calling a gin and tonic a "Summer drink" that it's OK to charge...More
