Cramped area at the back of the shop - over priced I felt over £6 for small latte and cake. Waitress kept hovering and whisked away plate as soon as finished. Made me feel uncomfortable. Won't visit again.More

Popped in this this lovely little venue whilst visiting Monmouth. Very nice welcome and offered us seats near front window. Tried the bara birth with a cup of tea. Very nice indeed as not had this cake before.

A lovely little tea room in Monmouth. A very comfortable atmosphere. We ate a Chicken and Chorizo Pasty along with a Welsh Leek Quiche. Both came with a nice fresh salad. Both were lovely!! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!!!

Our daughter has Celiacs so having tried probably 4 or 5 places without success we came across this cafe. Unusually there was lots of choice for her in terms of gluten free food, and the staff were really helpful. The food was really tasty, and...More

We had seen the reviews on tripadvisor and decided to have lunch here. It's a quirky shop/cafe with friendly staff. Our order was filled quickly and the food was good. We found the overall experience good and would not hesitate to stop here again.

Upstairs Downstairs Tearoom & Cafe is small but perfectly formed. Upstairs is like stepping back in time, elegantly furnished with panelled walls, Italian Leather chairs and stunning chandeliers. Waitress service and freshly made food and home made cakes add to the charm of this lovely Tea Room / Coffee shop and now downstairs, on the ground floor we have opened a more informal cafe with comfortable arm chairs and shabby chic tables & chairs but still beautifully decorated. Upstairs can be booked for anniversary Afternoon teas and special occasions. A little oasis in the heart of the pretty market town of Monmouth.
