We called in without booking and were lucky to get a table. A very good selection of dishes were available and we had fish cakes and mackerel pate for starters. Delicious. Our mains were hake in a creamy wine sauce and lamb in a rich sauce. All the courses were piping hot and fresh. Unfortunately, didn't have room for desserts... More

Just been here for a evening meal and I can highly recommend it. The rabbit starter and pheasant main were exceptional.

I went to this restaurant because it has the highest ranking in the TripAdvisor site for this area. Well it was not disappointing but after trying out the other restaurant in this area I don't think it is the best but it is still very good. No real complaint here but just my own opinion. The restaurant is busy but... More

Fortunately I booked this small restaurant weeks before we visited, they are very popular and we're turning 'walk ins' away ! The menu is not huge, which is good as everything sounded tempting. I had mackerel pate to start which comes with a fabulous salad and chutneys and then duck with red cabbage and a sour cherry sauce! It was... More

This is a lovely restaraunt where booking is advised we couldnt get a table the first night. A set 2 course menu at £18.95 with a good variety of starters and mains to choose from. Best goat cheese starter I have ever had and I have had a few! Very generous portions no room for pudding unfortunately. Fruendly staff and... More

This restaurant offers lovely home cooked, original food. It is a real adventure in flavours especially the salads. Service is friendly and professional. The whole experience is thoroughly enjoyable and we have not had one disappointment in half a dozen recent meals on holiday.

Arrived unannounced, and they opened 10 mins early for us. Both the food and the service were superb. My daughter is gluten intolerant but that was not a problem for the staff. They went out of their way to help my daughter have a gluten free starter, main, and desert. My personal highlight-a cheeseboard, was available and I enjoyed some... More

Went here with my Wife and 23 year old Daughter for Mother's Day March 2017. The service was very good and the food was excellent, definitely not the run of the mill. We opted for the two-course option and had a main and dessert from a quite varied menu. The bill was less than £60 which included drinks. Thank you... More
