Tyddyn Lan welcomes you with the style of a well kept welsh country house, a warm lounge with an open fire where to sit and nibble from the canape which consisted of scotch eggs, smoked salmon and cheese and crispy seaweed. We were also given...More

A bit more attention to detail on arrival would improve the experience, we were directed to the lounge, but there was no offer to take my wife's coat, we were asked twice for our name, but once past these little things the experience was great,...More

Sunday lunch and time to take a mature lady out. Where better than a comfortable, professional and quiet restaurant in lovely surroundings? It's a rhetorical question. Nowhere better. As usual, it was all those good things. The Sunday lunch menu is a bargain and has...More

I can see lots of good reviews and I am sure the food is usually very good but unfortunately our experience was a bad one which ultimately ruined our planned weekend in North Wales. Our main course was so bad that neither of us could...More

This restaurant is clearly "old school". We had the Friday Gourmet menu. All the courses were perfectly prepared classic style dishes. All about letting the quality of the ingredients shine through. Fine dining done well

Went for Sunday lunch. All exceeded expectation for the price. Would go at least monthly if I lived closed. I am not a fish person but ordered place and it was the best I have ever had. Wine extensive and reasonably priced. Is Sunday is...More

We were a party of 6 and enjoyed a six-course tasting menu at Tyddyn Llan. The food was very nice and we loved the seabass. The service was a bit awkward in the beginning, when we were seated in the lounge area for aperetifs and...More

We are becoming regular annual visitors; lured up to North Wales by the countryside, activities and the food at Tyddyn LLan! Thanks again to Bryan, Sue and all the staff for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Food excellent, as usual! Thanks

Superb food, warm welcome in relaxing comfort surroundings. Owner Chef, Mitchelin Star awarded, a family affair with his wife Susan to welcome and guide through a fabulous menu and wine list.

Hi, I don't know of anywhere handy nearby. However, as the owner is always so very helpful, and as they are not able to provide your accomodation, I am sure that they will be pleased to reccommend to you somewhere very... More
