We have stopped at this establishment twice now and both visits the food was great the staff are very friendly and accomadating it also is a cafe too Tricia's cafe as lovely seating inside an some outside. For Allergy information ask before you order. Fantastic...More

I opted for the haddock, chips and mushy peas special which was outstanding. Fresh crisp and tasty battered haddock and excellent chips. The eating area was spotless and the staff were very cheerful and welcoming. This cosy restaurant has a well deserved reputation among locals...More

We Always Go To Gilie's We Have Never Had A Bad Experience The Place Is Always Clean And The Staff Are Friendly . Great Value For Money

Every time we go to Gillie's Place the food is great, always clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. We had two haddock and chips with peas bread and butter, plus a pot of tea for two cost less than £12.00. No grease on plate chips...More

Friendly staff, good value fish and chips and a spotlessly clean dining area. The fish and chips are lovely and crispy and not soaked in fat like some chippys.
