Came here for a birthday dinner. The filet is one of the best steaks I’ve had. Our issue was with the bar. The drinks weren’t mixed well and the bartender trashed all the menu drinks.

Went with my wife for our New Year's Eve anniversary dinner and we were not let down. Drinks and steak were the way to go. I love this place and always come here for my special occasions.

We took a large group here for dinner. My chicken picata was tough and bland. Several others had steak they did not finish because of lack of flavor and difficulty chewing.

From the appetizer to the marvelous steak, our visit was relaxing and fun! Truly a classic place. Got a little noisy with a party upstairs.

On the downtown Main Street trolley tracks. Stopped in for a small bite before hitting the road, and wish we could have stayed for dinner. The place is fabulous inside, with actual silent movies playing, but the tables are spacious and well lit. The appetizer...More

We had no idea this was such a great restaurant; we just walked in off the street and were lucky to score an outside table after a short wait at the inside bar! It was St. Patrick's Day so the street was a happening place...More

My fiance and I heard about this place from a friend, so we made reservations (Make sure to do this too! as it gets busy). The food was incredible, the service was great, and the decor was out of the movie, The Rocketeer. It is...More

While dining at The Majestic Grille you might expect to see Myrna Loy & William Powell sitting at the bar, zinging witty one-liners at each other over ice-cold martinis. Originally built in 1913 as the Majestic No. 1, a silent picture house that entertained Memphians for three decades, the restaurant gives diners a glimpse of the heady Hollywood days of ol'. From the beautifully restored Beaux Arts décor to expertly prepared classic cocktails to warm, gracious service to Chef/Owner Patrick Reilly's award wining, yet remarkably comfortable food, you find yourself feeling transported to another time. Add to that the largest private movie screen in the city showing silent films & classic movies and you're center stage in an atmosphere that reclaims the cinematic glory of the dawn of the silver screen. Named Best Restaurant, Best Brunch and Best Chef, The Majestic Grille has won accolades in regional and national press. As a community gathering spot for the Arts, The Majestic Grille offers up a dining experience that delights all the senses! Whether sipping a mimosa at our 'Ultimate' Sunday Brunch, hosting a business dinner in a private room, or watching the trolley roll by on our beautiful patio, we invite you to join us for a special dining experience in our historic downtown location. We look forward to seeing you soon, Deni & Patrick Reilly
