Stopped in without reservations and we were able to get a table for five. Shrimp tempura, calamari and onion rings were good appetizers. Everyone had a different steak and all enjoyed. Will go again.

Stopped in on way to concert. Hostess very friendly and timing spot on. Quick and friendly service. Gorgonzola steak with balsamic glaze and mashed potatoes was amazing. Only downside were the flies. Recommend getting reservations to sit inside

We stopped here on an evening of making the rounds to restaurants we wanted to try downtown. We like Majestic the best for atmosphere. Had a "cotton club" feel to it. Dinners are kind of pricey (between $ 23-30) However, we had an onion ring...More

I visited the Majestic Grille with a party of 10 people. Our orders were taken quickly and efficiently by Cassandra and Rory. The atmosphere of the place was tranquil with a classic John Wayne movie playing on the large screen. Our large group was able...More

Pretty restaurant with old movie playing up on the wall. Good service. Food was good, not amazing. Tuna and salmon very good. Filet came out cold and the fries. We sent it back and it came back very rare, too rare to eat. They did...More

We really enjoyed brunch here. Its in a theater (obviously) and maintains some original structure and decor complete with cartoons on the big screen. Plus the area is neat and accessible - close to the main are, Beale Street but on a (currently defunct) trolley...More

We stopped in here for a light lunch. I had the turkey wrap and salad. Very nice. It's an old theatre converted into a restaurant and they kind of kept up the theme with large movie screens (no sound) you could look at while you...More

I walked from The Peabody to Majestic Grille while on a recent visit to Memphis. Craving a steak, the bartender at Peabody suggested this place. Atmosphere was amazing. This used to be an old movie theatre and they were playing black and white films on...More

You definitely need reservations. We arrived at 5 pm from out of town before a theater performance and were told they had a full house already reserved. We could eat al fresco-about 100 degrees on the pavement, or at the... More

While dining at The Majestic Grille you might expect to see Myrna Loy & William Powell sitting at the bar, zinging witty one-liners at each other over ice-cold martinis. Originally built in 1913 as the Majestic No. 1, a silent picture house that entertained Memphians for three decades, the restaurant gives diners a glimpse of the heady Hollywood days of ol'. From the beautifully restored Beaux Arts décor to expertly prepared classic cocktails to warm, gracious service to Chef/Owner Patrick Reilly's award wining, yet remarkably comfortable food, you find yourself feeling transported to another time. Add to that the largest private movie screen in the city showing silent films & classic movies and you're center stage in an atmosphere that reclaims the cinematic glory of the dawn of the silver screen. Named Best Restaurant, Best Brunch and Best Chef, The Majestic Grille has won accolades in regional and national press. As a community gathering spot for the Arts, The Majestic Grille offers up a dining experience that delights all the senses! Whether sipping a mimosa at our 'Ultimate' Sunday Brunch, hosting a business dinner in a private room, or watching the trolley roll by on our beautiful patio, we invite you to join us for a special dining experience in our historic downtown location. We look forward to seeing you soon, Deni & Patrick Reilly
