We had dinner at the Majestic Grille and had a great evening. The atmosphere is really nice. The place didn't feel crowded or loud although there were a lot of people there. We had a bottle of Rijoa which we feel was very reasonably priced...More

Majestic is a local favorite! Read about the history because it's a restaurant in a theater and they still play movies and cartoons while dining. The food is delicious. I would make reservations ahead of time just in case. I'm not sure about parking because...More

This was such a find for us one evening. We didn’t know what to expect but we love the atmosphere and then the food was wonderful! The crab cakes and the calamari were excellent and our steak was absolute perfection!

My husband and I enjoy being able to enjoy a nice cocktail and dinner seated at a bar. Now this requires that the bar be able to have space and staff to handle this. The Majestic has both. This old school bar and restaurant has...More

I’d say casual elegance would be a good description of this restaurant. Jeans or dressy, you’ll feel comfortable wearing either. Vegan daughter make restaurant selections a bit tricky, Majestic has incredible options for just about anyone.

I don't know. But, knowing the food we had, I could hardly give a positive for you to take the kids. Granted, maybe the cook had a bad night, maybe the cook was new, maybe..... maybe..... maybe.... In either case, we... More

While dining at The Majestic Grille you might expect to see Myrna Loy & William Powell sitting at the bar, zinging witty one-liners at each other over ice-cold martinis. Originally built in 1913 as the Majestic No. 1, a silent picture house that entertained Memphians for three decades, the restaurant gives diners a glimpse of the heady Hollywood days of ol'. From the beautifully restored Beaux Arts décor to expertly prepared classic cocktails to warm, gracious service to Chef/Owner Patrick Reilly's award wining, yet remarkably comfortable food, you find yourself feeling transported to another time. Add to that the largest private movie screen in the city showing silent films & classic movies and you're center stage in an atmosphere that reclaims the cinematic glory of the dawn of the silver screen. Named Best Restaurant, Best Brunch and Best Chef, The Majestic Grille has won accolades in regional and national press. As a community gathering spot for the Arts, The Majestic Grille offers up a dining experience that delights all the senses! Whether sipping a mimosa at our 'Ultimate' Sunday Brunch, hosting a business dinner in a private room, or watching the trolley roll by on our beautiful patio, we invite you to join us for a special dining experience in our historic downtown location. We look forward to seeing you soon, Deni & Patrick Reilly
