Have been here several times. Always great fried chicken cooked fresh when ordered. Waffle also very good. Small store front with screen door as entrance door. Overall great place to have a meal.

Food was ok. The chicken strips were tough. I wasn't really impressed with the food, but the service was good.

Best chicken-fried steak in the south. Haven't had anything bad here. Sort of a hole in the wall nestled amongst larger (and louder) restaurants/clubs. We try to never miss it!

Stopped in for a good breakfast. It was good but they don'y have milk for your coffee, only creamers and no Butter for your biscuits, only spread (butter substitute). What down home restaurant uses commercial Spread for their biscuits?

Great comfort and soul food. Good music playing. Sarah our waitress was very informative about the area and friendly. Would visit again.

A unique experience right in the middle of Beale St. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious! I had catfish, cole slaw and black-eyed peas.
