Stopped by on a recent visit to my hometown - had a country breakfast of egg whites, toast, two pork sausages and a Coke. Service was friendly and quick. Friendly staff greeted everyone as they entered. Family atmosphere.

We have frequented Moma's since it first opened. Breakfasts are always a local favorite and the blue and white collar crowd come often. Breakfasts are so good, but a bit pricey. Anything you want for breakfast, they have it. The rest of the day is...More

My wife and I were looking for a good breakfast recently (aka "Not McDonalds"). She had been here years ago and we were so glad to be able to go. First, the folks that run it are committed to serving good, scratch-made food - and...More

Although, surrounded by Memphis, Barltett holds onto the small town image thanks to places like Moma's. Ken takes the orders and Danny runs the griddle. They sometimes need to move a few people along to make room. I think they might be losing just a...More

Description
Momas has been in operation in its present location for 33 years and the standard joke is we're almost ready for our grand opening. Danny Banton and Moma Banton started the business in 1982. Moma Banton retired in 1987 and Danny took on his new and present day partner Kenny Geiger and we are still flinging hash and taking cash till this day. We are lucky enough to have two very good employees Mary (26) years and Blondo (14) years with Momas. You will enjoy the great food and conversation as it is cooked on the front line as you watch. Breakfast is southern style from biscuits and gravy to country ham to some of the best omelets you will ever sink a fork in. Lunch menu serves up charcoal pit cooked shoulders to fresh cooked burgers on a flat grill and a thick cut BBQ Bologna commonly referred to as the Frayser steak. Please stop in and check us out.
