While walking around Beale Street at noon and making time for our night flight to Atlanta, we decided to have a quick lunch and found this place had lasagna as it's lunch special so we decided to go in. It was a Monday afternoon so only another couple was there having lunch. It wasn't until I opened the menu that... More

My wife and I have been here many times in our four visits to Memphis for blues-related events. We're from Edmonton, Alberta. Every time I eat here, I am pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. This food is a cut above the food you'll find on Beale Street. The seafood is great, portions are generous and the service... More

I ordered a beer when my food arrived and multiple times I asked where my beer was. I almost finished my food before I finally got my beer. The Gumbo was pretty good but I added pulled pork and hot sauce to it, and then it was awesome. My server apologized, but that hardly made up for the delay.

2 stops in last few months. Gumbo is good, not great. Last trip ordered Shrimp Velvet, which is supposed to be a Cajun dish. Turned out to be a bowl of mac and cheese with 6 ( yes 6) small boiled shrimp . No Cajun flavor at all. Came with a chunk of bread that was inedible it was so... More

My "foodie" husband says the gumbo is the BEST ever. I loved it, too. The sauce is really tasty. The mixture of flavors is incredible along w the bread. We got a bowl during happy hour.

A bowl of gumbo is a must! Ribs and the cheeseburgers are superior. Excellent service and reasonably priced.

Right on Beale Street, we went for the gumbo and assumed they would have other good food. They might have been understaffed that night because our server was always in a big hurry and never stopped to ask if we needed anything. Our order was partially wrong, but we didn't have time to have our incorrect item replaced. Our food... More

We chose this place because of the outdoor seating and the live music. We ordered some food and it was good. The music was brilliant! I cannot recommend this place enough!

The food here was excellent! We had the BBQ platter and Cajun Platters, bother were completely finished without any complaints 😊 we were a little disappointed in the ambiance. We thought they would have had some live music at lunch, without it it was quiet and just felt like something was missing.
