I don't like ribs but thought since I am in Memphis and the ribs were highly recommended I would try them. LOVED the ribs. not a lot of fat and melt in your mouth goodness. Got half a rack and with the sides could not eat it all. Atmosphere was family friendly on the one side and on the other... More

My daughter had the broiled shrimp and loved them. We shared a cup of seafood gumbo which was AWESOME. It had shrimp and crab in it and was just delicious. For my entree I had the ribs. They were "eehh". A man sitting next to me from St. Louis thought the same thing. They didn't have any flavor and while... More

We finally settled on this spot after walking into a few other spots and walking out.... There are two sides to this spot. We went in the side with the music venue. We saw two bands that were equally entertaining. The first was more like Elvis/Jerry Lee Lewis in style and the second had a blues influence. Ordered the BBQ... More

For some reason, TripAdvisor won't let me enter 5 stars. The best food we had on our trip. Large portions and delicious. The best cole slaw I ever had.

We started at BBs but there was a 5 dollar cover for each adult and the wait was too long. Went next door to Blues City Cafe. Fast service and good. Catfish better than the ribs.

Beale Street is a great experience and Blues City Cafe topped off a great day in the city. Wow, what a fabulous meal! Had the ribs and catfish. Both were out of this world. The meat was falling off the ribs. YUM!! This is a must try when in Memphis.

I don't know how the others are ranked higher - this is the best in Memphis! We got to town late and sat down to eat at midnight but we ate like it was dinner! We started with the sausage and cheese platter and then got the "Best Meal on Beale" plate which was some of the best Southern comfort... More

My family has eaten here many times as always this time the food was excellent. My daughter is turning 22 and we have been brining her here for her birthday dinner since she was 16. This is the only place she will eat ribs. We have never tried anything other than ribs as we drive 150 miles to eat here... More

This is my favorite place to visit when in Memphis. The catfish is delicious and the ribs fall off the bone.
