I asked for the waitress to suggest a speciality roll to try. Not sure of the name but it had "premium" tuna, not exactly sure what that means, fried shrimp, crunchies, avocado and eel sauce. Did not think that is was particularly good especially after seeing the $13.95 price tag. My chirashi lunch was good but the order of uni... More

The parking is not so great, there is small parking lot in front of and behind the place and there is parking on the street. The food is so delicious and their desserts are great as well. It depends on the night and who your waiter/waitress is on whether the service will be good.

Went here for dinner with friends and we pigged out on their sushi. It was all very good and so were the tuna lettuce wraps.

After reading the reviews for this restaurant, we decided to eat supper there. The house salad was not sweet and flavorless. At least the sushi saved my reviews. We ordered three different kinds of sushi and we were not disappointed. Service was acceptable, the chefs were ok, and finally the establishment was clean, including the restrooms.

The Jacksonville roll is my favorite. It has white tuna and garlic on top, cilantro, and crunchy crawfish. They sear the garlic and fish on top. It is sooooo good. Had the soft shell crab appetizer also, very good! You can't go wrong at Sekisui Midtown.

The sushi here is some of the best - if not THE best in Memphis. Eat in, or take out, the sushi, seaweed salad and spring rolls are phenomenal.

Sushi here is very good! There specialty rolls are out of this world and almost as good as some I have had in California. The prices are reasonable, however this location has almost no parking, and so it can be frustrating if you're trying to dine in.

The first time we had sushi was nice: some good assortments of sushi and sashimi that were delicate, smooth and tender. In the second visit we decided to have a feast, so we ordered a whole lot more. To our disappointment, we found chuncks of tough and brown pieces. After complaining, we were told that the chef had missed to... More

I have been to Sekisui in Cordova and they were great, this location is in stark contrast to the other. I ordered the Charlie roll and the spicy octopus roll and both were nasty. Even the spicy mayo tasted bad. The restaurant is cramped and doesn't appear to be very clean. A couple of hours later, my stomach began hurting.... More
