The Arcade is a must do every time we are downtown. Try the Sweet Potato pancakes. Read the history of Memphis's oldest restaurant. This is one of the many places I found on TripAdvisor and I keep coming back

Enjoyed breakfast as the first customers of the day while awaitng a train. Cordial, attentive staff... an upgrade from whipped spread to real butter, and a switch from jelly to preserves would be appreciated by all.

Okay, so don't expect spotless and pristine it's old. But, it's an experience. Just knowing the story and history is amazing. As far as the food, I had the Memphis thang sandwich, turkey with red pepper and creole mustard... I have to get a recipe for that. It was amazing food. Not huge amounts but really tasty. The prices are... More

The old cafe still serves up some great food. One of the best places for breakfast, lunch or dinner downtown. Try to sit at the Elvis table.

A place steeped with History and character and stuck in a Time Warp, Elvis Presley used to eat here but you would not even know it as I could not see any Presley Memorabilia, the staff were very friendly and the Chicken Pizza I had was excellent. However, the place was very dirty and needed a good Deep Clean, the... More

My husband said his omelet (he "built his own") was the best one ever. The french toast, biscuits, and hash browns were also really good. Be sure to read the back of your menu to learn the history of this restaurant - quite fascinating. Reasonable prices.

We took the family to The Arcade for breakfast on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Everybody had the French Toast and loved it. Enjoy the ambience of the restaurant and the diverse makeup of patrons. I highly recommend a visit.

We had the sweet potato pancake breakfast (as recommended by some other reviews) and they were amazing!!!! Now this is the first time I've ever had sweet potato pancakes but my husband who never eats anything that doesn't have any protein in it even thought they were good. They were subtle in flavor with the cinnamon and sweet potato and... More

Great place for breakfast. Got there around 8 am and there were no lineups but shortly after we were seated there was. Really unique restaurant in that the booths and table tops are all original from the 50's. Good coffee too!

Stopped in for breakfast upon recommendation and very glad that we did. We arrived around 8am on a weekend morning and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Service was prompt and friendly. Servings were hearty. Everyone was pleased with their choices. I would love to try it for lunch or dinner.
