The speakeasy theme makes it tough to find, until you realize it's above BB King's Club. Since our table was directly above the band, I was glad that we were there on Christmas Eve when the club shut early. It wasn't overly loud, but it was more relaxing when the music downstairs stopped competing with the piano player upstairs. The... More

While visiting Memphis the Itta Bena was recommended and we made reservations accordingly. Tucked away above BB King we found this amazing restaurant. Of our food choices that evening the Fried Crab Meat Stuffed Avocado was the most unique and delicious treat! Service from the hostess desk to departure was very attentive but not intrusive. Can't wait to return!!

My husband and I have been a few times. The food is delicious. The drinks are amazing. The cove is a great spot to be away from everyone else. Makes you feel very important. And frisky. 😜

Named after BB Kings hometown you will not see a sign for this place located above BB Kings Blues House on Beale. We loved it. The service was great and everything we ordered was fantastic. Nice piano playing during dinner that was not too loud. Definitely will go again.

We celebrated our 33 anniversary here. The food is always tasty, and the atmosphere is fantastic with the live music. This restaurant is loaded with character, and the service is always good. The wedge salad is the best as well as the bread pudding! convenient location as well. Can't wait to return

From the moment I walked upstairs into this welcoming and elegant restaurant I knew the evening would be enjoyable and it was. The staff were very welcoming, the menu varied enough and the wine list prices not too silly.

We enjoyed our visit to Itta Bena. We started with the fried avocado appetizer. Give it a try as it was delicious and very inventive. I had the lamb chops with parm risotto. Very tasty. The lamb was very tender and the risotto was perfect. My husband had red snapper on a Andouille hash. He loved it. It was our... More

A very enjoyable early evening meal. The food was good without being exceptional. The wine a pinot noir at $74 was very very good if a bit expensive. The music was super. Overall this was a really good experience which we enjoyed. We booked through trip advisor and very few times / tables were available yet there were many free... More
