I had a BLT and it was lovely. A bit different in a chibatta bread and with purple coleslaw on the side. My friend had haggis potato and loved that too. Sat outside in the non smoking area which was brilliant. So nice to sit outside and not be in smoke or sat around loads of fag ends. This is... More

My boyfriend and I came in for lunch the other day and had a wonderful experience. We were sat in the front area which was very rustic and had a lovely cosy, homely feel to it. I had the fish and chips and he had the burger which were both delicious. It was a lovely sunny day and so the... More

Stopped here with friends for lunch after climbing Conic Hill. It was a beautiful sunny day and the place was packed inside and out, however once we managed to get a table, we were served really quickly. The food was lovely- freshly cooked , generous portions and reasonably priced. I was impressed by how well the place was run, especially... More

I visit the United Kingdom quite often, and one of my favorite things to eat is a steak pie. I've had hundreds of them, and after visiting the Oak Tree in, eating one will never be the same. The Steak and Mushroom Pie was to die for. Juicy meat, excellent gravy, great choice of veggies (turnip, carrot, peas, grean beens)... More

We popped in on a gloriously sunny bank holiday Monday and fair to say it was very busy outside, as you would expect on a such a day. We opted to sit indoors (which was not as busy) and had left our dog at home as was surprised the bar/restaurant did not allow dogs...in an area full to bursting with... More

We stopped here for a rewarding beer after walking up conic hill, we had to sit outside as we had our dog with us, which didnt bother us. We were staying at Loch Lomond Waterfront, so came back for lunch the next day (again sitting outside) The food was great especially the pizza. We would definitely come back here again... More
