Lovely meal but not much choice for veggies! friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. I'm told by my friend who ate with us that the non-veggie food was fab too!

Dropped into the Kingarth for lunch after a cold and wet walk. As soon as we were through the door the warmth of the host is very apparent. We had fresh made cream of chicken soup, the best we'd tasted. My partner and I were back twice more that week for lunch. The food can't be faulted, neither can the... More

We were recommended the Kingarth by a local when we were visiting an attraction that day. So we took the advice. The pub is very sweet itself in a nice location. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I had the scampi and chips and my partner had the lamb which he said was Lovely! More than... More

Just spent a few days on Bute and visited the Kingarth for lunch. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious, a very varied menu and great service. It's very relaxed and after lunch we stayed on for a few drinks. Two middle aged couples, one stayed sober for the drive back! We'll be back!

Lovely restaurant with good service along with a good range of food. Felt pricing was a bit overpriced.

We were recommended to go here by my partners parents. We hadn't booked and the only tables left were the high bar tables. We both had a starter and main main course. We both enjoyed our starter. Both had burgers for our main course. You get a big plate of food. I had the vegetarian burger, which was exactly like... More

This place was amazing, good food, lovely welcome even though they were really busy, there were 4 of us eating, two chicken jalfrezis (amazing flavours) hearty soup and fresh bread, and a delicious pork stir fry, followed by a selection of deserts, 5 pints and 3 wines, and brome strawberry shortbreads to take home, all for £64 unbelievably good value
