Was staying in lochgilphead for 2 nights and had dinner here both nights. 1stnight I had a lamb tikka medium balti which was amazing served with the best naan bread I've ever had. Had meat samosa to start they were so crisp and tasty. Saturday night I had a methi masala which the owner recommended I've got to say it... More

Our B & B owner recommended this place, but she had only used the carry out service, we walked in about 8.30 pm on a Saturday, to find a young guy sweeping up, and all the tables and chairs put to one side, not a soul in the place, looks as if it could take about 15-20 people full, we... More

Since new owners took over we are regular users of the takeaway service, They can add paneer cheese to vegetarian options which is refreshing and different. very nice flavours although best to phone in your order as it takes a while.

This was ok and it did the job after a long working in the area. The food was cooked, it was hot, but it did not in any way blow me away. The young boy serving did a good job managing the floor on his own, serving those dining while juggling take away orders at the til. I think I... More

The curries were good and staffs were friendly. Curries full of spices to warm you up after a trip to the West Coast. It says on the menu the restaurant has a new management so maybe that's why the place was very much in an 'under renovation' state when we're there. One of the tables were piled with cutlery and... The Indian food is standard. The premises are in need of a facelift but as previously stated the staff are friendly.

Ordered takeaway; chicken curry, chicken pakora, peshwari naan and chips. The curry was tasty enough but chips were cold and greasy, the pakora was like boot leather like it had been cooked multiple times. The peshwari was small and had no real flavour. All in all a disappointment.

Been a few times since the Taj Mahal reopened and been very impressed every time. Tonight I got my times mixed up and turned up just as they were locking up for the night. I was disappointed and a little worried about what my wife would say when I came home with no food. But I needn't have been because... More
