On a wintry April afternoon this cafe was an oasis where we were given very good service and welcome tasty and hot bacon rolls and tea/coffee. Just what we needed!

We visited tonight and eagerly awaited our order of fish supper for two plus pizza. Beautiful food; the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection and the chips were delicious too. Not greasy at all. The service was friendly and fast. We decided to indulge in a pudding and we were not disappointed. A home made knickerbocker glory and a... More

Homemade quiche and cakes are just delicious. My son just loves the carrot cake. The coffees are just lovely.

Great choice of food/cakes. Good value and all home-cooked to a very high standard. Run as a fish and chip shop with cafe adjacent. Food is really wholesome and good.

We had a burger each. The burger patties were rather poor but overall the burgers were enjoyable. Prices not too bad. Service friendly.

Two of us visited the cafe for a light lunch. We ordered from the cafe menu, not the fish & chip shop. Food was fine, prices were fine, all the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Friendly with good food, basic fish and chips but good value and worth visiting. Seems like quite a popular place in Lochgilphead.

I have given this place a good few tries now so this is an honest review. First try was a sit down meal late afternoon. Place was empty ordered fish dinner. Took ages to arrive, staff didnt seem to be too bothered or interested in their one and only customer. Food on this instance was extremely mediocre and that's being... More

I order food here one night when I was working in the area. I couldn't be bothered going into a restaurant as I really fancied a chippy. This did not disappoint in any way. I had a haggis supper and I was told it was local and not a frozen one. It did taste great and the chips were also... More

After a lovely walk in the nearby area, me and my partner decided to get a tasty fish and chips... And it was!! Great customer service, quick service and definitely one of the best fish and chips! MUST DO if you are in the area, great location. Would recommend.
