Beautiful location for an overnight stay. Room was a little dated but bed was comfortable and clean. View of the loch was amazing. Had dinner and local ale in the restaurant. Food was good, excellent service and we were made very welcome. Highly recommend for...More

We were led to believe the food was good here. I have a small appetite but the sweet potato cake and salad was very small and plain. It was simply sweet potato in breadcrumbs and a salad....really not a main meal. My partner had the...More

We ate here while staying at the hotel. Good food, had some very nice local smoked salmon for starters, and local venison for main. Both nicely prepared. Helpful and cheerful service. Local beer from the bar went down well.

Best kippers I ever had, directly from Loch Fyne, which we had a view of out the window. For dinner, everything was well prepared and much was locally sourced.

We are staying along the coast, near St. Catherines and we visited on a Wednesday evening. The welcome was warm and friendly, we sat in the conservatory area overlooking Loch Fyne. The food was absolutely delicious and so well cooked. I had the mushroom starter,...More

Ate here after visiting he fabulous Ardkinglas forest/ gardens. Friendly attentive staff. Shared an excellent stuffed flat mushroom starter, then fish and chips and steak and ale pie. Both good and would certainly eat here again.
