Only place that was open post 8pm for dinner. Next to the gas station. Waiting time was too long. This is your oridinary bistro. Food was not good. Veg lasagne was full of cheese. The onion bhaji curry with rice was not Indian curry but...More

If you come into a busy establishment late, you must expect a wait. The vegetable lasagna is topped with cheese - there is no cheese contained in it. We don't advertise our curry as 'Indian '. We are British and would not presume. Our curry...More

We ordered the vegetable curry which was ok, vegetarian lasagne which was mediocre- rather like a frozen style with a couple of chunks of vegetables and the rest sloppy pasta. The crusty bread was two slices of dry, day old baguette for £11 and the...More

O.k., so I know the weathers not been that good, but you shouldn't take it out on people like us. Our vegetable lasagne contains mushrooms, tomatoes, sweet potato, courgettes & aubergine, topped with homemade bechamel sauce and grated cheese. We make it ourselves so I Know...More

On searching the web so dog friendly lunch spots in Dunvegan, Waterside Cafe Bistro popped up so we thought we would give it a go. The customer service was excellent and our waiter even pooped into the kitchen to get a little treat for the...More

Thank you for your review. Yes, we are very dog friendly. Can't understand why there seems to be such a problem. We find all of our dog visitors are very well-behaved - their owners too...mostly. 🙃 Regarding your problem with portion size, you didn't say...More

We stopped here after realising that every restaurant in the vicinity closed at 2pm until dinner time (which we found mental). So glad we did! The lad who served us was very friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate us! The food came and wasn't...More

Popped in for a drink after a long drive to Skye and received a warm welcome from the staff. Young Lady from Glasgow and her son chatted to us and made us most welcome.

Stopped here while visiting the town. We turned up just before they were due to close (8.30pm) but they happily accommodated us. Food was great and service from new waiter excellent. Seafood chowder in particular is definitely recommended.

Not really sure of the hours but no, you do not need to book in advance. This is more of a walk-in and eat place. Prices are quite reasonable and the menu is varied but not always the same. There are not too many places to... More
