How did this place win an award? Chips were clearly of the frozen variety and completely tasteless. Also our £2.50 portion was tiny. They must have seen us coming. Even the ketchup was cheap. The only good thing was the smile from the person serving...More

Having just been on a Whale watch with us boat trip, we asked the captain for his recommendation as to the best fish and chips in Tobermory. He wasn't wrong!

Tasty fish and chips expertly cooked and served. Enjoy harbour views while eating your fish supper. Good prices too.

Open until nine at night, this provided a quick meal which there isn't anywhere else in Tobermory to have. Varied menu.

Great setting, not great chips. Very disappointed in the quality, chips that you would expect in a pub, not from a fish and chip shop, and not good value either.

It was disappointing on first visit - the large cod was the size of stickleback! The chips were from frozen stock and we're barely satisfactory. The redeeming feature was the friendliness of the owner, and the smoked sausage which I wish they would bring down...More
