We dropped by randomly for an early dinner with our 18 month old son and were welcomed by the owners. We were the only people there and probably too early for most places to serve dinner bit no problem here. We ate in the bar which is brand new and well done, log cabin style with great views overtime airfield... More

So my wife and I stayed here at The Glenforsa Hotel in August 2016 (see review of The Hotel- Glenforsa Hotel, August 2017) We both dinned here on the evening of the 16th August 2016. (I am being exact as The Hotel has previously blocked my review due to lack of First Hand Information) Anyway, I had a Steak (Circa... More

This place was very convenient for dinner the night we arrived on the ferry. We only ate in the bar area but the food was delicious and quick. The views were gorgeous from the bar sitting area. The staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you are going by.

Good, honest bar food served without delay, limited menu but varied enough to satisfy. Owners are hard working and care for their customers, staff are excellent. Closed for the winter now and are undergoing major expansion to the bar area which will double the size and the addition of french doors will give a very welcomed open aspect to the... More

We decided that we should spend the final night of our holiday enjoying a good ol' nosh! The Glenforsa is nearby to the cottage we were staying at; checked it out on the Internet and decided to go for it. Although not the place we would generally visit we were very pleased we took the plunge. Very friendly owners and... More

Food and wine excellent but we were not able to go direct to restaurant. had to go via the bar. When we asked for a table we were told only if available yet there was no one in the restaurant..a bit weird. However, when we ordered and got food it was really good.

The Glenforsa Hotel is a mountain cabin in the woods, more like something in the Californian mountains than the Isle of Mull, and as charming. The timber building is interestingly designed and has a splendid bar restaurant at the rear, overlooking the Sound of Mull. It backs on to the small Mull airfield and is, indeed, a haven for aviation... More

We were staying at Glen Forsa Hotel so ate in the restaurant on our first evening. We wish we had decided to eat there on the second evening too. My husband and I both had excellent fish meals. I had Mussels to start which were divine, with a lovely light wine broth, just as Mussels should be served. I then... More
