We had a lunch here that was so simple and good, we returned the next evening for dinner. Staff is very friendly, and service prompt. Ordering wasn't straightforward, unfortunately. We would certainly return.

Lively place with good food and drink within a busy complex. Enjoyed the local mulligatawny soup and special salad. Made a change from the usual cafes and tea rooms we normally frequent. Great to see a fully utilised building for all the community.

The view over the harbour and the lively atmosphere make this appealing. The food is fairly good, with some daily specials using local sea-food and some there are standard pasta dishes. Portions are generous.

Just a swift visit to this Arts Centre to visit a cultural exhibition and enjoy a latte and a delicious slice of home- baked lemon iced cake !

I ate here because it seemed less of a commitment than going to a restaurant for dinner and it was perfect. Order food and drink at the bar, take your numbered wooden spoon to the table and dinner will show up. Food was good and not too expensive. There's a great view of the harbour and art on the walls... I was knocked out with finding this place on a recent work stay in the Western Isles. What a gem. A lovely arts environment; they recently hosted the Hebridean International film festival and host many exhibitions and arts style events, the range of which may surprise those ignorant of the wealth of talent to be found in this small slice... Went to this cafe for late lunch on arrival to Stornoway on the Saturday ferry. First impressions were good. Menu looked promising, and prices seemed fair. However, after placing our order the food took almost an hour to arrive.. and we had only ordered simple dishes (nachos, toasted sandwich, burger). The portions were very small, so not good value after... More

I have been to this venue on numerous trips to Stornoway, food is excellent, staff are friendly and the exhibtion floor provides a facinating insight to these islands, well woth a visit for lunch.
