The atmosphere was great as was the service. However, the food was no more than average though plentiful. The salsa was flat, no spice whatsoever. This restaurant would be good for those who do not want spicy food. But then, why choose a Mexican restaurant if you don't want spicy? I felt the price was a tad high for the... More

A spot popular among locals and college students alike, this restaurant offers a variety of Mexican and Tex-Mex options. Although some Mexican restaurants serve salsa that is just ok, the salsa at El Jimador is top-notch. The chicken tacos are a must. While the nachos are delicious - be warned they are gigantic. They make a great appetizer to share(or... More

We enjoyed our meal very much. I had the taco salad with chicken alms my friend had the chimichanga with ground beef, rice and beans.

We've ate here before and it wasn't all that great however, this time was different. Ordered my typical chicken chimichanga and it was brought out while I was still placing my order. HOT PLATE! Seriously, the service was very quick with no errors. Waitress was quick on her toes with the refills of drinks and chips. Great all around!

Disclaimer: Food Snob Ok, so I have had better Mexican food than here. But it was still decent. Just not really wow'ed or anything. Service though was on point. The food came out super quick and I really appreciated that. I would give them another try in the future.

Well the mariachi band (the servers) won't win any prizes for their rendition of Happy Birthday, but they sure surprised our birthday girl (we aren't telling you because it is a surprise waiting for you). As always, the food was absolutely outstanding; service was outstanding; price was outstanding; atmosphere outstanding. What more can we say?

This is my second favorite Mexican restaurant. I've never had anything bad here. The decor and atmosphere are pleasant, too. It feels like a real Mexican restaurant.

We were traveling thru town and noticed this restaurant from the road. We were absolutely satisfied with the atmosphere at first then we were continuously satisfied with the drinks, service, and the food was amazing and FULL of flavor! If we lived closer we would eat here multiple times a week. I highly recommend if you are hungry and in... More

I started with typical fare (carne asada), and over the years, I've tried several simpler menu items. Each time, I've been disappointed. They'd do better buying McCormick's taco seasoning rather than using whatever they're using now! I know I'll have to go there again sometime in the future, but I won't order anything more than chips and queso. (Even their... More
