Came upon this wee gem in Troon. We were served by a lovely friendly young waiter . I had cappuccino with a homemade treacle scone and hubby had latte with fruit scone. They asked if we would like our scone toasted which made all the difference. Can honestly say it was the best scone butter and jam I've had in... More

This little coffee shop in Troon serves great food. Would recommend the soup & sandwich deal. Well priced food, with cheerful and helpful staff. Also offers a great selection of tasty cakes. Would highly recommend for lunch.

Popped in for a bacon roll and a coffee. Both were excellent and served promptly by a friendly waitress. Spent a relaxing 25 mins there thinking next time I must buy one of the homemade scones and cakes which looked delicious! Look forward to going back to this reasonably priced restaurant , well worth a visit!

Visited No3 several times since the ownership has transferred to a young couple. The premises has been nicely refurbished and name changed to the Strawberry Cushion (the original name). First class coffee, great range of food and pleasant staff. Overall and excellent experience and we will be returning on the near future.

Had lunch here recently and was so impressed by the menu selection and quality of food served - we were served by a lovely young lady, who we later learned was the new owner. Would definitely recommend a visit to No 3 to sample the homemade soups & delicious cakes. Some of the family had special dietary requirements which were... More

We have eaten in No3 a few times. Food is usually pretty good and service perfectly fine but our most recent visit put us off returning. Our order was taken by a very sour-faced older woman and the only words she uttered to us during our entire visit was "Are you ready to order." We gave our order and I... More

Stopped off for breakfast here with the family. Nothing was too much trouble, great service from Fraser and Doreen (I'm 90% certain of their names). We ordered a wide range of food, with the men ordering full breakfasts (cooked to order), my Grandad having a freshly prepared sandwich, Mum having the Lentil soup (she highly recommends) and I (being on... Two of us had lunch here. We had toasted paninis and coffees. The food was nicely presented with a small side salad, coleslaw and crisps. The staff were friendly and the price of the food was fair.

Went with my wife for lunch ordered soup , bacon roll while my wife had the jacket potato with tuna, everything we ordered was fresh and warm in a pleasant and very clean cafe, staff were excellent, the choice of menu very good with decent prices and would recommend when in Troon to try it out, you won't be disappointed.

No 3 is a very pleasant coffee shop in Church Street in the town centre. It is always spotlessly clean, has a few tables outside and a good range of cakes, scones, sandwiches, soup, etc. at reasonable prices. I have visited several times in the past month or so and their coffee (capuccino, being my favourite) is really good. Their... More
