Very busy, waited almost an hour for haddock, chips and onion rings, I had a mouthful of oil with each one, the fish was the same so I ate the fish not the batter, the fish on its own was nice and this is the reason I gave two stars and not one, the chips are average. I think it... More

Day out along the coast so what better way to finish it off than with a fish supper. It's clearly not a run of the mill chippy as the menu includes options like fritto misto and lobster. However for us it was haddock and chips all round. All the food is cooked fresh to order so we had to wait... More

Great find. Haddock is great as well as the tempura prawns. You also get a nice pot of tartare and chilli sauce to help. You have to eat them fresh though so we always drive about 100m and eat them in the car facing the sea and ARRAN. A little more expensive but worth it.

Brilliant food absolutely delicious! Best chippie ever. Got to take away or head down the beach to eat. Lots of different options to choose from. Bit pricier than normal choppers but worth the extra and more. Be prepared to queue but don't fret it is well worth the wait. Yum yum. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. If... More

Loved this place and the food was delicious. Prices are a little more than the norm but you're paying for quality and freshness. Tip, be prepared to wait a little while as the queues can be big and they take time preparing it. But you won't be disappointed

Visited here recently with my sister who incidently has been here a few times before, however this was my first visit. We both had haddock and chips which is cooked fresh to order and well worth the wee wait. I normally get hearburn with a chippy tea but not a twinge here. The batter is light and tasty and the... A wee trip down to Troon with family. Just felt like a chip roll. Asked a member of the public and this wee place was recommended. Before I start I am not going to slate the quality of produce in this place. It sells lobster, seabass, prawn tempura. Its not your standard chippy. Its at the harbour and and I woudnt... More

Much more than just fish and chip takeaway. This is freshly sourced food, not only cooked to order, but beautifully cooked too. All served with lemon wedges and tartare sauce. The choices of different fish are awesome. I'm working my way through the menu and have not had one disappointment. It's all superb! It's known for being so good and... More
