Stop off for our trip at the campsite, was disappointed at the offer of restaurant food, it closed at 6pm. Anyone arriving late needing something hot without cooking was limited.

We stayed at the Applecross campsite for 2 nights and had breakfast here both days. Food was great, Awesome french toast!!, and staff were really nice. Great atmosphere with flowers and greenery, guess I should have expected that.... just wish they'd open for dinner too!
What a truly great place Well cooked interesting fresh food Set in a great walled garden in a fantastic estate you can walk around

Just checked website and this popular cafe restaurant will be closed for some length of time in 2014 during works at the campsite. believe they may be up and running again in 2015 but best to check.

So disappointed not to be able to eat with friends in The Flower Tunnel. We are quite regular visitors to Applecross and The Flower Tunnel is a popular location to visit. Very sad that we couldn't on this occasion.
Whilst travelling to Applecross this is a good stopping place for a light refreshment, used it for many years, always wecoming, food reasonable and price too.
We enjoyed the ambience but the fish soup (all we had) had too much potato in it. We saw other people's pizzas, and they looked a little anemic too. But we did enjoy our meal there.
