Food is very good. My favorite time is on Friday when they serve a great seafood buffet. I try to eat there at least 2 times a month.

The best thing about Emma's is their tenderloin, tender being the operative word. I usually just get a couple of tenderloin bisquits when I go there. I wish they had a better bisquit but I can't say a bad word about the tenderloin. I don't care for their gravy but I like their breakfast potatos. I've seldom eaten there for... More

Good price for country food. Buffett had many southern dishes and cheaper than cracker barrel. It has breakfast lunch and supper. Under$10 for the Buffett

I have visited this restaurant before but my husband had not. Almost immediately our waitress, Rebecca, opened the door for a challenge of wits. My husband loves a good verbal battle. The two of them exchanged in a lively battle and I think she let my husband win. You won't find employees like Rebecca at national chains as I'm sure... More

Come on right, I should have known. I'm on my way back from Chattanooga and we stop I for Breakfast in Manchester. Reviews looked promising at Emma's, but now I simply don't get it. People must be so uneducated when it comes to food that they simply can't do the reviews right. This place may have at one time been... More

The food at Emma's is fresh and has good flavor. This is a definite go to for a country buffet. The problem is the buffet is crammed in the front door, with patrons having to move out of the way of staff and other patrons.

We were traveling through the area and stopped here for lunch. They have a buffet which includes several choices of hot meats, numerous cooked vegetables, a salad bar & a desert bar. Everything is home-style cooking. The salad bar was well stocked with a good selection as was the desert bar. The salad items were fresh and the deserts were... More

Lunch buffet was very good. Fried chicken was so good that I didn't try whatever the other meat was. Good greens, mac & cheese and fried okra. Everything I tried was good. I saved enough room for a taste of peach cobbler, glad I did. Friendly service too.

Great service, large portions, good food. We had the breakfast which was too large to eat. A locals place, accessible to the highway. The lunch buffet was set up and is definitely southern style. Prices are too low to skip this place. Located directly across Cracker Barrel which will charge double for the same meal.

My wife and I enjoy eating at "local" restaurants when we travel. Coming through Manchester this past weekend on our way home from a fall break spent in Florida, we were looking for a southern style breakfast before our final trek home to Indiana. We found Emma's Family Restaurant through TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a try. All... More
