This is a cafeteria style restaurant, with a limited amount of selections. But what they do offer are well prepared. Better that, than offering a lot and doing nothing well. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if your at the Loch Ness Centre and a bit hungry this will fill the bill.

What a very informative place to visit, a great exhibition and suitable for all ages. If you believe in Nessie or even if you are a sceptic this is straight forward, factual exhibition. If you want to see Nessie you probably need to have a few drams of the whiskies.

Spend a good hour here walking round the exhibition and listening to the narration in the 6 rooms. It was interesting and informative but not worth the £7.95 entrance fee. Basically it tells you the monster story is fake as the loch is too cold and there isn't enough food to sustain a creature of Nessy's size.....

This is a cheerful and friendly hotel where the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The food consists of localally sourced produce that is always fresh. The smoked seafood skewers were a first for me and they were excellent. The smoked mussels were to die for and the venison pie was just delicious.Good food reasonably priced.

We stopped in hungry not knowing what to expect. Seated at a table on the second floor overlooking the loch, we were asked for our drink order right away. The ambiance/décor was slightly dated but nostalgic with various 'nessie' memorabilia from the ages- it was entertaining to check it out. We ordered the a burger and haddock fish & chips... More

Had a nice meal in the restaurant but it was very noisy due to a birthday party. Catered for gluten free with gluten free brownies although this was not advertised. The waiters Ashley and robin were very good however Dave was somewhat rude at times. Slightly unprofessional delegating tasks to his workers in front of guests. Other wise a lovely... More

Stopped here between Urquhart and Inverness for a quick lunch. My husband and I both had the burger with chips. They were so yummy! Service was friendly and there wasn't a whole lot of people in the restaurant, despite the crowds outside at the shops.

Don't waste your time if you're a vegetarian! Only thing on menu which was suitable was roast vegetable soup which I might have enjoyed had it not be ridiculously over seasoned with pepper. Inside of my ears was actually burning!!! Young waiting staff were OK, but person in charge had the most unpleasant manner when dealing with customers. Not often... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal was presented lovely and more importantly tasted lovely too - between us we had the fish, burgers and children's meal, as well as sticky toffee pudding and ice creams. Great ambiance and well stocked bar. Staff very friendly and professional.
