Out for a drive, stopped in a had a root beer float. Been years since I had this. Very good, will be back. Next time, I'm making sure I get that frosty mug.

My husband and I have been going to A&W Restaurants for years...but the best part is going to get a root beer float and asking them to put it is one of their large cold frosted mugs...it tastes much better this way! And...a couple of their glass mugs and a jug their root beer makes an excellent Christmas present!

We stop here every time we go to Pigeon Forge. Love the food. Can't beat the prices. Root beer is to die for. You can get a half gallon or a gallon to take home. They have a little of everything. Must try.

This business has been in business for over 50 years. I went there as a teenager. The current owner is true to the original menu. Root beer. Great hamburgers and my personal favorite is dip dogs. Daily specials, kids menu and fantastic milkshakes. They have monthly old car cruise ins.

Passing through town around lunch time and as i glanced ahead I thought I went back in time! A real car-hop place? Yes, well sort of. You pull in and order thru the speaker (back in the day the girls either walked or roller skated to your car. The girl did bring the order when it was done but i... More

One of the summer activities that I enjoyed with my dad and sisters was the stop at an A&W drive-in located in Dayton, Ohio, back in the late 1970s. The hotdogs were good, and so was the root beer that came with it. Nearly 40 years later I get to relive the experience in Madisonville, Tennessee. The menu items have... More

A far more old school version of a drive-in. Not as glitzy as sonic (which can be found roughly a mile farther south), but ok food and a more nostalgic expeirence. Not super fast, but pretty quick and a good choice for a corn dog.

Wonderful landmark of Monroe County. Its a step back to time when life was a lot simpler. Nothing beats sharing a A&W Rootbeer float still to this day.
