Breakfast is served here if you are a guest. A really good choice from the buffet & from the menu. Afternoon teas are also held in this room. Evening meal as always beautiful presented and staff knowledgeable on the dishes we asked about. Relaxed atmosphere, somewhere to definitely come with a loved one & enjoy great food in beautiful surroundings.

We dined in The Strathearn on several occasions during our weekend stay at Gleneagles and had breakfast in the restaurant every morning. The evening meals were always a pleasure, unrushed, great service, a beautiful place to eat. Breakfast in The Strathearn will always be memorable to us as a very enjoyable meal, made all the more pleasant by the waitress... More

We had a lovely Saturday evening in the Strathearn, the whole experience is reminiscent of days gone by. We were't rushed, there was no requiring the table back after 2 hours- we stayed 4! My only negative comment would be that our main course- roast of the day, was not warm enough

Over the new year break my family and friend at here for breakfast and dinner over 3 nights. This restaurant has maintained the old school values of the grand old European hotels. Quality service with quality food. Not much more to add other than you won't be disappointed with the Strathearn.

The whole of Gleneagles itself is the most beautifully decadent setting. The Strathearn itself has a wonderful feeling of the glitz and glamour of the 1920's. All of the staff were friendly and so attentive as well as helpful with all good and drink choices. It is clear that they are trained to such a high standard. The food itself... More

As a returning guest I was very excited to come back to Gleneagles and the Strathearn after a five year absence due to moving abroad to live in Dubai. It's my 50th year so this was a treat for me by my wife, as she knows it's my favourite place. The restaurant still oozes class and sophistication and has an... More

All your food is amazing and delicious. I would like to see home made gluten free bread. With all your expertise, it would not be difficult to get the right flour eg Juvela and treat those with coeliac disease like you treat all of your customers.

Breakfasts and Dinner were excellent with a wide choice to suit all. The only downside was the price of drinks. We thought £12 for the cheapest glass of wine and £7 for a pint of Lager a bit much.

Having stayed at the hotel, and having had dinner in the Strathearn before, on this occasion we had the buffet breakfast, in this place 'buffet' and 'breakfast' do not do it justice. The choice is superb, as are the items that are cooked to order. When we have dined at dinner the service, and food, have been superb. A place... More

Description
The Strathearn, the glamorous heart of Gleneagles, is one of Scotland's most sophisticated yet buzzy destination restaurants, recreating the elegance of a bygone era with a theatrical flourish. Silver butler trays are whisked with calm confidence between the grand pillars to your candlelit table, filling the air with the scent of flambéd cognac, whisky, pernod or sweet, caramelised Grand Marnier. Steeped in a rich Franco-Scottish tradition, our passionate chefs bring seasonal, locally sourced classics (the names Thermidor, Bonne Femme, Diane, Wellington, Chateaubriand, crêpe Suzette, and, of course, Scottish smoked salmon echo down the ages) to a smart, convivial contemporary audience. The Strathearn is also the home of the legendary Gleneagles breakfast and Sunday lunch.
