Called in to "The Cottage" and had a super meal. Buffet style. Starter was plentiful and great variety. After the starter struggled to manage the main meal. Being full we had to decline the dessert and were then presented with lovely cakes to take away. Great value for money.

With a bit of a facelift and a name change, Spicy Nights has become the Cottage and serves both a full Indian buffet and a full Polish menu which is very popular with the local Polish community. If the buffet isn't on you'll be served mixed starters and your choice of curry at your table, and if you want more... More

Been here a couple of times in midweek and as the buffet wasn't on we were served selections at our table. Everything we ordered we were told we could have more of if we wanted - just ask! It was the best of both worlds. - buffet quantity with a la cartel quality and service. The chef and waiter were... More

Our visit here was a surprise for all but the person booking it, for a start its now called "The Cottage" but they have not managed to remove the previous incumbent's signage from everywhere including the car park. I should point out that both my wife and my friends wife are quite enthusiastic lovers of all things Polish after a... More

The food in this restaurant is out this world. The staff are the most mannerly and helpful people I have ever met. It's a pity it's slightly out the way, but it's well worth the travel. We will certainly be back. 5 stars.

We booked online using a Groupon voucher for 7:00pm for a Tuesday night. It turned out to be awful weather-wise (it really was a night for just staying in) but as we had booked, I thought it only fair to follow through on the booking. However, when we arrived the place was closed, and it looked permanently shut. We had... More

Went for 2 course Polish lunch but could have left after soup dish. It was a meal in itself. It was served in a crusty loaf , packed with smoked sausage and potato . The main was also a generous serving, a kind of beef olive but tastier served with dumplings. Overall a hearty meal at a great price. Felt... More

Jerviston - Near Carfin: This is an excellent family run resturant who work hard to please their customers. Always a vaired choice and happy to make special requests. The best indian buffet resturant arundthese parts - always vaired and fresh offers on the table. The staff also work hard but discreetly to make the dining expereince a good one - always consistent in service and delivery.
