Nardini's was closed for a few years and I'm pleased it's opened again as we enjoyed it previously. It attracts loads of people particularly when the sun's out as there's always a queue for ice cream. On our last visit we went into the restaurant and we all had the pensioner fish & chips, tea and bread & butter, excellent.... More

We only stoped for ice cream on a rather miserable day at this iconic cafe. Great selection of ice cream and some quite unusual choices. Staff at the ice cream counter were a bit miserable and never cracked a smile for the whole time we were being served ... bit of shame.

Myself and my husband had lunch with family on a busy Saturday and we was served quite quickly and the food came up very quickly and it was vey good food. Good food for good money. It was not packed and you was not feeling compact in a room.

Why oh why in this day and age can a place this size not keep some gluten free bread in the freezer and defrost it to make gluten free sandwiches when requested? We have been to tiny cafes all over Britain who do better than this. Shocking!

I visited here last week with my husband and children for my husbands birthday. As someone who is dairy fee, i didnt expect to have dairy free ice cream but i did expect to be able to eat there whilst my husband and daughter enjoyed an ice cream sundae. I was dissappointed to be told that they do not serve... More

Had lunch with my husband who is Gluten Free....When asked if the soup was GF, we were told it was but there is no GF bread or rolls. On asking why this was the case when GF bread is readily available we were told that they don't do it as there is not enough demand. However, we were given a... More

Booked a table for 17 were put in worst position right in front of toilets and were frozen every time side door was opened. After spending alot of money for this meal was really disappointed that I couldn't get a single nugget as dessert you can only order fancy ice cream with that cheap cream etc on top. Spoke to... We enjoyed a lovely freshly cooked fish tea which included bread and butter,a pot of tea and 2 scoops of Nardini's ice cream. It was extremely good value at £8.15 each. The service was good and the setting lovely.Would highly recommend a visit. We were also offered the opportunity to dine in the restaurant (rather than the cafe) with discounts on offer..
