We visited here for a coffee and a snack prior to our ferry trip back from our winter week break. It was nice to see the refurbishment of the hotel and enjoy the seaview from the window overlooking the ferry terminal. Excellent coffee and snacks...More

We went for a works lunch, it has wheelchair access, I arrived last, ( as I was working) but got my food first. Two of my colleagues were left sitting whilst we ate, as they had ‘forgotten’ about their orders! It was a fixed price...More

In relation to your review we are slightly confused as we don't offer a fixed price lunch meal deal for two courses and a drink so think you have possibly reviewed the wrong island establishment! We are the Douglas Hotel, which is situated on the...More

We met up with family here who were coming over on the ferry to join us. The views from the bay window were stunning and all the staff really friendly. It wasn't cheap but still good value and they brought a big bowl of water...More

Thank you for your lovely review Matt! We did try to do table service, but we can get very busy at times and it makes it difficult to manage unfortunately. Hope we welcome you back again soon, Best Wishes, Elaine

Didn't stay at the hotel but popped in for dinner. Staff lovely, food choice in the bar limited and definitely overpriced. Had the mushroom chilli , mediocre and tasted as if it came out of a tin. Pretentious in prices and qualityMore

Just across the road from the ferry port. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon, had two pots of tea and nibbles between us. Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere and the toilets were clean 👌 the place is dog friendly too 😊

Great choice, great view, dog friendly bar. We stayed for ages after a long walk, are and played games at the table. We weren't in any way hurried. Very welcoming. I would have given 5 stars but the pudding choice was poor.
