Our food was also excellent. I had the haddock risotto which was beautifully cooked and my partner had the pork belly. We felt that our meal was... More

We have been to quite a few of the Hebridian islands over the last few years and enjoyed some great food. The food at The Douglas however, would rate as one of the best in terms of quality vs value for money. They seem to have the balance just about right. My wife and i both chose the seafood tagliatelle... More

Arrived at The Douglas for Easter weekend and they kindly managed to fit us in for dinner tonight. That easy going, professional, friendly and polite manner was continued by Kirsty, Ellie and Georgie in the restaurant who offered excellent service throughout the meal. My smoked haddock and pea risotto was superb, as was the brûlée for dessert. Gorgeous views -... More

Had drinks and dinner here. Efficient and knowledgeable staff. Modern bistro menu - everything we had was well thought through, prepared and presented. Not cheap but good value for the quality and execution.
