Amanda squeezed us in on a late booking after a cancellation, and we're very happy she did. The atmosphere is very intimate and homely, and Amanda is very, very friendly, giving us information about the food and the restaurant and keeping us happy.
3rd visit and didn't disappoint (weekend organised around making sure I could get a reservation at this restaurant) Excellent food, excellent service and outstanding hosts, I can't wait to go back again
Amazing restaurant perhaps the best in the area. So friendly owners who make you feel warm and welcome. Local mushrooms a real must try in the tart. Scallops and fresh seafood fish medley platter are a jewel. Do not miss!

As it was anniversary of restaurant they offered a 5 course tasting menu that we opted to try.
Pigeon starter was decent, lamb for main course was unbelievably tender and gravy packed with flavour .

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was very good and came with a smile. Standout for me was the saddle of lamb and the damson tart. We would love to return.
