Went into this establishment only to find no one behind the bar even though there were customers drinking in the bar area. Looked at the menu and wasn't particularly encouraged to hang around. Waited a couple of minutes and decided to try elsewhere

My dad is a farmer and was not disappointed with his Sunday lunch! Very cosy room with log fire and delicious roast with vegetables cooked to perfection. Friendly staff who didn’t keep us waiting long. Made our day out to Corfe Castle

A visit is highly recommended just to witness the fabulous display of twinkling lights. Staff and regulars made us most welcome. The ambience of this pub is second to none. We shall certainly return. Fabulous prelude to this Christmas

Ate at The Castle 3 times in September. Specials board changed little but there was plenty of choice with several classics. Portions were plentiful. On Saturday night, the staff were extremely helpful to accommodate when we had not booked a table. I really enjoyed the...More

Good, home cooking at average / normal pub prices. Booking in advance available and desirable to ensure table at evidently popular venue. Just the one, welcome enquiry from staff, during lunch, as to whether all was well. Nice ambience, flagstone floor, older worlde feel, unpretentious,...More
