We had a wedding nearby. Our guest stayed in the Big barn next door to the restaurant and we had dinner here on Saturday night. We were a party of 11 so had a separate room called the piggery, which was lovely and secluded. Cosy with a great atmosphere. Peter was extremely helpful from the time of booking. The staff... More

We haven't been here for ages, but friends asked us to book, so glad we did. Forgot what a great place this is. Loads of delicious food and always plenty of tasty vegetable dishes to accompany your main course, Make sure you are really hungry as there is so much food. Fabulous starters, great mains and delicious deserts, which if... More

Fantastic food and service. Vegetables were extremely nice. A lovely place for small wedding dinners. The dining room was cosy country style and the place really lends itself to relaxed dining. Everything was homemade and to a very high standard.

I have eaten here several times as part of a large group. The food is delicious and always imaginative combinations of locally sourced ingredients. They are very accommodating of special dietary requirements with prior notice. This is one of my favourites in the area.

The warmest of welcomes to a lit wood burner with drinks and canapés are what we arrived to and superb food and wine followed. The food was not only of the highest quality but... More
