Thank you Sylvia and I am glad you like the restaurant and, you are right, you do not have to be staying at the hotel to use the restaurant or bar. Worth noting also that there is/are happy hours (s) too, every night, between 6 and 8pm which have reduced price wines and beers. Ideal!- to begin and good night.... More

Hello Adele S Glad you enjoyed the Afternoon Tea. The weather when you were here was lovely and sunshine seemed to be streaming in. I wondered if you were going to ask to have it on the terrace? I thought the food looked attractive and, you didn't leave anything which I think means you must have enjoyed it. Quite right... More

The lunchtime carvery was very good except for the pork which was a little dried. Service was excellent and coffee in the conservatory with a wonderful sea view was a lovely finish. There was no pressure to move , we could have stayed there all afternoon. On mentioning to the waitress that the pork had been dry and the menu... More

I visited the restaurant in a group of 11 ladies last night. We pre-ordered the main courses as we were a large group. Each meal was served piping hot with plenty of vegetables served as side orders. No-one could find any fault with the meals and service was quick. The prices were reasonable and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this... More

Glad you and your group enjoyed your meal. We do seem to look after groups of all sizes well, certainly from the comments passed back to me and the Catering Manager, Stuart. We would now like to attract a few more groups/weddings/christmas parties in now as, with the views over the gardens being as beautiful as they are, and with... More

The food is really excellent and plentiful. I have had the Carvery a number of times and have never been let down. Breakfast was also fantastic. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and as an added bonus it is very fairly priced.

Thank you for the words of praise, the carvery is one of our best meals as you say, though I must admit to being a little biased, but I really enjoy the Wednesday 'Pie Night', the Beef and Ale is my favourite! Regards Andrew Stoneman More

We visited Brasserie 16 on the 24th March, we had an amazing carvery, you can have all the meats that are on offer and the vegetables were fresh not frozen. Beautiful and a good price.

Only stayed for 1 night, which I'm glad of hotel ok the rooms are very tired and in desperate need of an update, hotel pleasant enough but felt like when checking in it was being read from a script, and lacked the personal touch. Ok for a quick one night stay but wouldn't choose to stay any longer and would... More
