Visited on Monday lunchtime. I'm always a little concerned at a chip shop when the only food on display is a few sausages. No individual prices for items, only set costs of cod & chips etc. We ordered kids meal of fishcake & chips with an extra fishcake, cod & chips with curry sauce. Service was pretty awful, no smile... I visited here in the Summer with my partner. This was the only fish and chip shop open and having read the Tripadvisor reviews beforehand we were reluctant to try. However, we went against our gut feeling and decided to give it a go. We were served by a rude teenager whilst all of the other employers stood and stared... More

We popped in for a quick lunch and ordered fish and chips. We sat outside in the glorious Sunday sunshine in lovely Dawlish and watched the world and the black swans go by. Really tasty meal and they even take debit cards. Perfect 10/10

This place now seems to go by the name of 'Seabreeze', but the menus still have the 'Bailey's' name on them. Well, what can I say. If only I had read the reviews before stepping foot in this establishment. I was hungry and as this was the only place open and serving food that I was able to eat (or... More

We've sat outside in the evening sun and enjoyed a pint or two of cider whilst watching the world go by and it's great. We strayed into the fish and chip shop one day and had the worst food I can remember. Fish overcooked but the batter was sloppy, greasy taste and texture. Horrible mushy peas; the chips were the... The name has chnaged but not the food or service. Their fish & chips are fabulous and genereous portions! All served up quite quickly with a lovely mug of tea! Delicious! On a nice day this is made even better by being able to sit outside although the one down side is the coaches which pull up there now and... More

Can't really comment on food as only had ice cream! ( clotted cream ) Which was very nice but not a very big portion for the price.

We went to the Take Away part and it wasn't all that bad and they cooked our food fresh. Recommend going here as opposed to the restaurant judging by the reviews.

We had a sit down meal here last time we came (Aug 2014) and to be fair the fish was OK but I was quite horrified when I saw they were cooking frozen chips! Skip forward two years and with a name change I thought things would be better, how wrong could I be. This establishment has become more expensive... More

Absolutely abismal! Great location, but the food is horrendous. ....always seems busybut no idea why, except probably full of people like us thinking good fish and chips come close to the seaside. Fish and chips and sausage and chips were totally over cooked and inedible. Both meals fed the bin!
