After a morning tramping on the moors this was a good place to replenish our energy. Grandson enjoyed his Spag Bol and my Breakfast Bap was as much as I could manage. Food freshly cooked and well presented by very pleasant staff. Toilets very clean.

Came in for coffee and cake at tea time after visiting the Prison Museum which is just up the road. Good choices of cakes and service was good.

This place was recommended to me by a local travel writer, but when I turned up at 130pm on the last Saturday in July there were no seats and a queue. Wandered over to Jayne's café instead which was half empty, but didn't like the...More
