We've eaten here on & off for the last 10 years & have never been disappointed. This time we ate there every day over four days & can't fault it. On a wild, stormy evening, entering the inn is like something from a story. You're...More

Great location of a pub for walkers. However, if you are here for the old-world atmosphere or the cosy fireplace, leave the kids at home or you will be disappointed. As soon as we walked in, lady behind bar saw our well behaved child and...More

We just had to visit the Warren House Inn as we own Warren House Bed & Breakfast In Chideock Dorset !!!! We weren't disappointed, it was friendly and cosy inside. The menu was full of tasty looking meals but we opted for the homemade pasty...More

Iconic position high on Dartmoor with stunning views. Tries to be 'olde worlde' but feels more 'tired and dated'. Not a warm welcome and certainly not an at ease feel about the plave. Very disappointed with a non-memorable visit.

Have been to the Warren Inn before and it's been average, however, after today's visit we won't be returning. This time I was with my 10 month old daughter and on arrival we were directed to the sparse and uninviting 'family room'. Empty and devoid...More

Great location and well worth a stop in what is fabulous scenery in the heart of Dartmoor. On a cold wet day there's nothing better than stopping off at this pub it's like the scene out of a film but friendlier than the Slaughtered lamb

What a perfect lunch! Called in with friends and our dog. She was made so welcome. The steak pie was so delicious as was the ploughman's lunch. Sticky toffee pudding! Delicious. Such a lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again.

We had Dartmoor steak n ale pie and it was stuffed with meat. £13.50. The jalapeno poppers were excellent. You can get otter ale or otter lager as well as a few standard lagers. We got there at 830pm on bank holiday Sunday and the...More

A proper old pub set up among the misty hills of Dartmoor, with a glowing log fire and a warm welcome. We chose to eat in the dining room, a little room off to the side, and have to say that the homemade Cottage Pie...More

They are good for all meals. I think they server until 9pm. I've never had to book, but I don't usually go during things like school holidays or other times like that.
