Home made burgers for the kids, light and fluffy fish cakes for my wife and fabulous venison for me. Really recommend this place. I'm amazed that we have got a table on both occasions. This place is not cheap BUT you do feel That you are getting value for money. I spent some of the time watching the chef. He... More

We ate here on Saturday night. Been meaning to go for ages as we live in Brixham. Will definitely be back. Friendly service, great food, and good drinks menu. Particularly enjoyed the music as the head chef owner shares my taste for early 90's American rock

Do not have to dine here to have a nice time. Called in and spent a pleasurable couple of hours drinking great wine , chosen by the great host Catherine. Sitting informaly at the bar. Good time had by all.

Lytehouse provided a lovely meal for a group of 20 local runners over Christmas. Food was interesting, plentiful, beautifully cooked and served hot, which was a real achievement given the size of the group. Wine and drinks were good value and some interesting choices.

On returning to this part of the world to visit friends, after moving a couple of years go to Bristol, I was delighted by the food in this small restaurant. everything appeared freshly prepared and the lovely lady serving was very knowledgable and attentive. The restaurant and toilets were immaculately clean. Will be returning.

We continue enjoying our visits to the Lytehouse restaurant in Fore Street, Brixham. The food is always the freshest and perfectly cooked and presented. The service is always very friendly and you quickly feel at home. The wine selection is first class with plenty of choice. . All told an ideal place to eat and relax. Highly recommended.

If you want a civilised meal in a civilised setting with entirely delightful chef / patron owners then head to The Lytehouse. Generous portions of well cooked food (properly done but not pretentious) and a decent wine list at very reasonable prices.

Found this place last October and very glad to see it is still there. Was a tapas/wine bar but the tapas concept didn't go down too well in Brixham but with starters and side dishes you can still make up a great, fun meal. Great owners, very knowledgable couple.

We ate here with some friends who are regulars. Travelling to Brixham that night, we were going to be late and when my friend telephoned, Caroline very kindly offered to stay open until we got there. He did keep giving her updates, and she was very patient and graceful as I would have got quite annoyed after the third or... More
