We visited the George as it has recently been refurbished and reopened with an Indian restaurant, fabulous. Delicious food and wonderful staff. Will definitely return

Lovely stay in a cosy room. Friendly staff, good central location. Good breakfast. In house restaurant was popular but we didn't eat there this time. Would happily stay again.
£4.25 for a bottle of warm corona! no wonder it was dead in there....just moved to the area and wont be returning

Just had a sandwich and a ciabatta, very nice. Not really into the whole 'slate is a plate' but hey I understand it's fashionable at the minute. Good tasty bar food nice clean bar area. Staff were very helpful with our questions for local knowledge.
