Fabntastic fish and chips - we went during school holicays, so it was quite noisy on this occasion, but to be expected. Only issue was, when we entered there was no sign saying wait to be seated, which caused confusion for others as well

We went to the smaller Squires whilst on a weekend break and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portions were huge and the onion rings were the best we’ve ever had!

Fantastic Fish and Chips and good value. Really good non greasy and light batter. Excellent portions and nice kids options. Very nice staff. Pity about the setting on a main road.

Very clean and comfortable restaurant. Helpful and courteous staff. Wide choice of fish meals available. Even the small cod and chips is quite substantial!

Lovely Family Run Fish & Chip Restaurant in Braunton High Street. Extremely Busy in Main Restaurant, Up and Down Stairs, Very Clean, Lovely Decor and Atmosphere, and very fast Competent Staff Service. Very Reasonably Priced, and Fully Licensed. Obviously a Favorite Venue for Locals.

The fish bar had quite a queue outside, which seems to be the norm for this restaurant. However they were more interested in getting the queue down by seating people than they were looking after the customers when they were seated. Basically, not enough staff....More

Just got back to our holiday cottage after our visit to Squires and have to say that they are the best fish and chips around! The batter is light, fish, well cooked and chips as good as you get. Yes, it gets busy but it...More

I don’t think they are. But there’s always the takeaways option which is brilliant. Then you could go down to Saunton Sands which is 5 minutes away.

My wife always had cooked fish without the batter here. She is glutin and wheat intolerant but always enjoys a lovely meal here.
