The curry is nice however, a lot of the dishes are quite sweet and with the coconut rice as well it was a bit much. Also for 4 people, only 4 main dishes and 4 drinks, came to £94 because each part of the main...More

It would appear that Francis F is slightly misled here, as I have video evidence of live weevils crawling over my pappadums. Also I am no fool, they only appear in outdated flour! We in the Mainland UK have much higher standards with regard to environmental health issues such as this and this situation would have resulted in the restaurant being closed until fully disinfected and inspected then passed as hygienic. If I had an axe to grind, I would not have paid the bill. (something I now regret). I am lucky to have a choice of excellent providers of indian quisine here in Manchester who year on year win awards for quality and service and regularly have custom from the likes of Noel Gallagher and the Coronation St. cast. Once reported to Jersey environmental health the lady taking the call was most apologetic and said that Jersey would soon catch up with us regarding standards as she had received many detremental reports about this establishment but their powers were limited. I would suggest that you do your homework regarding infestation of flour, then reply when you are educated!
