It pleasant sitting outside enjoying a cold drink but when you don't get much change out of a £10er for 2 drinks it knocks the edge off a bit.We didn't bother with the menu, just sat and people watched.

We called in here mid afternoon for a hot drink, on our way to the adjacent Jersey Museum. I had a decent cup of coffee, my wife had tea, which came in a generous tea-pot, no "tea-bag in a mug" here! Very reasonable price. Can't comment on the food.

Avoid. The distinct aroma of a restaurant that 'Used to be good'. Looking around the room past the pint of wine brimming my glass that's been oversold in the first place. The dropped faces of other customers say it all. An older couple finding it hard to maintain a fun night out despite decades of practice. Tepid service, a supercilious... More

In Jersey on last minute holiday. Wandering about down by the marina with partner around noon. Feeling hungry. Saw The Merchant House. Wandered over. Perused the menu. Both ordered the beefburger. Well cooked (not over fone) and juicy. Huge chips. Yum. Recommended.

Had a really good meal here this evening - my herb and Parmesan crusted chicken was delicious. Rest of the family also enjoyed their meals - my mother said it was the best meal she had eaten during our week in Jersey. Attentive and friendly service. Good location too.

Having eaten so many excellent meals elsewhere in St Helier to be given flavourless food was disappointing. The dishes we chose were flavourless and it just was not appetising. Fortunately not expensive at £60 for two. Tables are tiny and poorly placed.

Delightful brasserie tucked away by the tourist information office. Saturday night 18th February, looked busy with Valentine couples but they found us a lovely table. All male staff, very attentive, good menu, service impeccable despite being so busy.

Description
In the heart of town you'll find our bustling restaurant and terrace bar: delicious food to warm your heart and delight your palate, from Irish and British meats to local seafood cooked to order.

In the historic Weighbridge area, next to the Jersey Museum, you’ll find one of the most popular restaurants in St Helier. Locals affectionately refer to the spot as the 'Museum Brasserie'; a cosy retreat with vibrant food in a lively atmosphere.

Here business people discuss the markets over lunch and in the summer the Terrace Bar lights up and turns into a hot spot where people chill out with good tunes with friends.

Dinner is either a set menu or a la carte. Fusions of fish and Eastern spices make the food exciting and delicious. This is the place to go for good hearty food with some unexpected twists. The desserts are to die for!
