Poplars is by far the nicest tea room on the whole island, run and managed by lovely people, who provide delicious food, which is consistently excellent on every visit. Everything is freshly prepared, delightfully served and is delicious, not over complicated or fussy, its simple...More

This is our second visit this holiday and I am sure it won't be the last. You can eat inside or outside in the peaceful garden. Everywhere is spotless and the service is friendly. The menu is reasonably priced and although we are yet to...More

Stopping for lunch in the Poplars garden, we enjoyed a selection of sandwiches but more importantly, some lo Ely home baked cakes and scones. The service e was friendly, the food tasty and the atmosphere relaxed, making a very pleasant light dining experience.

We first visited The Poplars back in 1989 when on holiday with friends then again in 1996 and 1997 with our two very young children so when we returned for a holiday in 2017 we wondered if it was still in existence and I'm so...More

Secluded little tea room near St Brelade's Bay. We've been there twice for gorgeous Jersey Cream Teas and they are superb. It is unfortunate that they close for the winter in mid-Sept as I will be in Jersey again in November.

We've been here a few times, a proper tearoom selling just what you would expect. A good cup of tea and excellent cakes. There are several simular businesses in Jersey but we think it's one of the best.

Headed to the Poplars tea room for lunch. We shared the cream tea. Beautiful Jam, clotted cream and scones served along with proper Darjeeling tea (with a range of options). Others in the party enjoyed cheese scones, sandwiches and cola floats which they also rated...More

Visited for lunch and food was lovely. Ordered a range of food from ploughmans to paninis to cream teas and cakes - all was obviously homemade and delicious. Service was slow at times though, so this could be improved. All in all, we could return.
