I recently wrote review about Portlet Beach and this is the famous and fabulous pub that is located right on the cliff top, above the beach! After the long day at the beach and workout walking up the portlet famous never ending steps, you reach the portlet inn for a well deserved drinks and lunch/dinner!! Great place!

We caught the bus here and enjoyed the walking and the views, having just missed a bus called in to get warm and a drink. Made very welcome by the staff, who seeing I was struggling helped me get on to the internet. Soup and bread very good and filling. Prompt service and good value for money.

We went to the OPI because we wanted to try somewhere different from our usual venue. We were given a table in what can only be described as a corridor near the bar. Apart from the fact that it was cold and draughty, there was a constant flow of children and adults passing by. The food was average for the... More

Called in on Sunday evening, no reservation but swiftly accommodated. Many of the staff appeared to be Polish, which I've noticed is common in Jersey. Couple of items not available, (popular place), our friends had the sharing platter, hubby had garlic bread & I had the chicken pieces on salad, we all made a big mistake as the portions were... Went today for the first time! I heard it was the best place for Sunday dinner off some friends! Walked in to a sign saying please wait to be seated, myself and my partner stood there for 10 mins, several waiters and waitresses passed us without acknowledging us. My partner then went to the bar and was directed to the... More

Lovely old pub overlooking Portelet Bay, which seems to offer all things to all people. We popped in during a coastal walk, and the chef prepared Mussels a la creme for us at 14.25pm with 5 minutes to go before the kitchen closed for lunch. The mussels were the biggest and most succulent we have ever eaten, accompanied by plenty... More

Lunch at The Portelet Inn yesterday was really terrible, first off they had no apple juice. We were offered something fizzy for the children or a fruit shoot, which contains all sorts of rubbish. The children's chicken was seriously over cooked and difficult to eat. Our pies were ok but my husband felt unwell all afternoon. Not an experience I... More

This pub has plenty of character. By what I've seen, the food is always really nice, although never tried the food in here yet, but I will do. If you're after a refreshing drink and or a bite to eat, and a bit of a relax after taking a casual stroll along the cliff top walk around Noirmont Point &... More

Up on the Noirmont headland, this pub/restaurant is well worth a visit. Plenty of parking, and plenty of space to eat, inside and out. The menu is of a very good standard, portions are good and service is friendly.
